With humble beginnings in South Wales, Laura Ashley’s work started at her kitchen table screen printing tea towels and head scarfs with personalised patterns in 1953. Her work quickly took off, seeing an expansion into the fashion industry where her designs gained international popularity throughout the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Today, Laura Ashley's classic heritage designs can be found adorned on kitchen appliances, linen, towels and more, inspiring creativity in homes the world over.
